This time, it's not only me that is hosting, but an amazing sponsor: Melissa, from Panda Tushies. Melissa has offered to ship to the winner of this giveaway a fantastic organizing tool and space saver!

It's a Brand New Kwik Stor base with (2) two additional shelving units (total value $50.00!!!)  Giving you a total of 7 levels of storage (up to 98 compartments!) Each level has customizable compartments. You can make anywhere from 7 large compartments up to 14 smaller compartments on EACH level. Each level has a lock, not only to protect it from shifting while in movement but to protect your goods from little curious fingers. It also has a heavy duty handle for easy mobility.

Below are pictures of my Kwik Stor (which I seriously LOVE).  To give you an idea of the size, I have put it next to my snap press. Please NOTE:  Snap Press and Snaps do NOT come with the giveaway.

  1. I don't have a pic but I love the comic book boards for bolting my fabric. They are cheap and fit perfectly on the standard bookshelves from any big box store, and I can easily see and organize all my fabric :)

  2. Wow that looks awesome!!! I need some major snap organization, so this would be perfect!!

  3. My favorite organization is my small plastic IKEA tubs that I use to organize my notions. Elastic, grommets, rick-rack, misc embellishments, hook and eyes, etc. They fit perfectly in my drawer! My 14-month old daughter can play with them and they won't pop open. They definitely take a beating :)

  12. Organization???? Funny!!! That's why I NEED this. My craft room is so disorganized that my sewing machine isn't even up there. I do have a reading nook in the front and back of the room that make me so happy and relaxed up there. Do you really want a pic?

I'm still working on my sewing space but I think my favorite organizational tool is my thread holder, not exciting but its awesome seeing what thread I have on hand in a glance :)

  15. This thing is super cool! Would work well for all kinds of notions not just snaps. Might have to go out and get myself a couple of these...

My favorite organizer right now is my main sewing cart. It is one of those red Craftsman rolling tool chests. I scoffed when Hubs originally suggested it but once I thought about it and decided to try it I fell in love! It has a ton of different drawers, a large space in the bottom for pattern magazines and a bin in the top for UFOs. Works great!

  16. Oh how I'd love to win this one! I came on board after these were no longer being sold and kept missing them on destash opportunities! :)

And my favorite storage are the Expedit shelves from Ikea... I use those with either their boxes (the plastic kind) or the fabric boxes from Target that are the same size... all my fabrics live so nicely in there and are always within reach! :)

  17. My favorite organizing storage solution in my sewing room is an antique mini apothecary that my FIL gave me. It has all these little draws and beautiful white ceramic knobs on each draw. The only draw back is that I can't see into the drawers and I ended up having to search through tons of drawers to find what I'm looking for. I finally solved that problem by labeling the outside and being consistent with putting things back. But I could REALLY use more organizing help in my sewing room--- it can turn into a disaster quickly when I have all my snaps out, buttons, etc... This container would be FANTASTIC to keep me better organized.
Hopefully this link works to my current favorite storage:

  18. I have a rotating kitchen utensil holder that I got from Pampered Chef...it works great to store sewing machin tools, spools of thread, pens, etc.

  19. My sewing room is my kitchen so my favourite storage solution is a BIG plastic box on wheels. This way I can put everything I am working on into it and roll it under the table when it is time to eat.
I wish I had a better solution for all the small things as I use ziploc bags and they tend not to last very long so there are a lot of buttons at the bottom of the box.

  20. It's not sewing related, but it is in my sewing room - my IKEA trofast toy storage. It keeps the room organized enough that I can share it with the kids playroom, and it's a nice partition in the room as well.

  21. My sewing desk is currently in my kitchen and I am very limited on space. I have LOTS of fabrics in bins in my garage but plan to make my own "mini bolts" using comic book boards and putting them on a bookcase that I also have waiting in my garage.

  22. I used to put my snaps in ziplocs bags. And my fabric in plastic totes or big boxes. All are on shelves in my sewing room, or under my sewing tables, or yhe spare closet in my yougnest bedroom.

  23. My go to for organizing my sewing area is using clear plastic sleeves and huge 3 ring binders to store all my patterns. When I cut out fabric for a project (smallish) and I can't get to it right away, I use the 2 gallon zippy bags to store the pieces and binder clip it to the pattern/instructions in the clear plastic sleeves. Even though the kids have probably distracted me, I can find everything when I get a chance.

  24. I have a Tupperware(?) sewing box that my mother kept for years and now I have. It is great to keep a lot of the basics for hand-sewing/repairs - little spools of thread, needles, small scissors, buttons, etc.
